Rise and shine! Wake up and smell the coffee! This is your wake-up call!
Rise and shine! Wake up and smell the coffee! This is your wake-up call!
The early bird gets the worm. Let’s put your best foot forward, take one step at a time, get on the good foot and learn to crawl before you walk. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Baby steps, baby steps, baby steps. Let’s put our pants on one leg at a time. One moment at a time, up and at them, let’s not waste a single moment. The world is your oyster, seize the day! Make it so. Another day, another dollar. Hit the road, jack! Jump in with both feet! Blaze a new trail, take the road less traveled, forge your own path, I think I can; by hook or by crook, now we’re cooking with gas! Hit a bump in the road? Do a one-eighty! It’s easy as pie, as A-B-C or as 1-2-3!
Even the sun shines on a dog’s ass sometimes, and a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while (are you a squirrel trying to get a nut?) So throw caution to the wind, fly by the seat of your pants, for crying out loud, and hit the ground running! Put the pedal to the metal! It’s all up to you, the game in on the line, do or die; this separates the men from the boys (and the ladies from the girls). If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Get back up on the horse, saddle up, and get with the program! This too will pass, hindsight is always 20/20. It’s never too late to learn, there’s no such thing as failure, learn from your mistakes, forgive and be forgiven, take the high road, don’t sink to the gutter. Shoot for the moon!

Are you looking for greener pastures? Think the grass is greener on the other side? Are we headed to the land of milk and honey? To easy street? Have no fear, and don’t despair, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Life will flash before your eyes and it’ll all be gone in an instant, here today, gone tomorrow. Let’s have high hopes, hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Are you looking through rose-colored glasses? Don’t write checks your body can’t cash, talk the talk and walk the walk and everything will take care of itself. Dance like there no tomorrow. Sing your ass off. Balls to the wall. Let’s white-knuckle this trip! Ain’t no half steppin' and ain’t no stoppin’ us now! I’m off and running on a wing and a prayer, on the up and up, gettin’ down and dirty. I’m looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and the bridge over troubled waters. They say a rolling stone gathers no moss, so I’m rollin’ on. On and on ‘til the break of dawn. Take the bull by the horns and ride this thing ‘til the wheels fall off! You’ll be there in no time flat; it’s just a matter of time, and time flies when you’re having fun. So let’s not watch the clock, because a watched pot never boils and this is no time to wave the white flag. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon, it ain’t over 'til it’s over and the fat lady sings.
We’ve reached the end of the road. Roll the credits. Finis. All in a day’s work. Another nail in the coffin. It’s all over but the shouting. Thank you, I’ll be here all week. Please tip the wait staff. No really, you’re too kind! I’m riding off into the sunset. So long! Bon voyage!
…and with every end comes a new beginning…
