The next time there is significant winter weather here in the Philadelphia area, keep score with the following list!  

Phrases:

• 1 point for "All Philadelphia Public and Parochial Schools are closed."
• 1 point for "I-95 Corridor"
• 1 point for "North and West"
• 1 point for "South and East"
• 1 point for "...snowing at a pretty good clip..."
• 1 point for "arctic blast"
• 1 point for "polar vortex"
• 1 point for "bombogenesis"
• 1 point for "bomb cyclone"
• 1 point for "with the wind it really feels like..."
• 1 point for "speed restrictions on area bridges"
• 2 points for "thundersnow"
• 1 point for "If you don't have to go out, don't..."
• 1 point for "as we predicted/projected"
• extra point if predictions were was wrong but credit is claimed anyway
• 1 point for "call the airlines before heading out"
• 1 point for "stay tuned all day to (name of station) for up-to-the-minute reports"
• extra point if website is mentioned
• extra point of app is mentioned
• 2 points for "No Savsies!"
• 4 points for any mention of John Bolaris

Live Field Reports:

• 1 point for each reporter giving a live report somewhere in the region
• 1 extra point for reports given from inside a vehicle "driving around reporting on road conditions"
• bonus point if the phrase "If you don't have to go out, don't..." is said during report
• bonus 2 points if roving reporter gets stuck
• 1 extra point if the report is from a Wawa parking lot
• 1 point each time the reporters breaks out a small ruler; 
• 2 points if it's a yard stick, 
• bonus point if the ruler or yardstick has the TV station logo on it
• 1 point for each report "from the steep hills of Manayunk"
• 2 point for each report of city residents frustrated that their alley hasn't been touched by a plow
• 2 points for a reporter doing a snow angel
• 3 points for Steve Keeley getting practically plowed over by snow thrown from a passing snow plow train
• 4 points for Jim Cantore freaking out over thundershow

Live Studio Reports

• 1 point for each live phone call with PennDOT, NJDOT, DelDOT, PHL airport, or SEPTA
• 1 point for each weather person in studio
• 1 point if Hurricane Schwartz's bowtie is on straight; 
• 2 points if it's askew 
• 3 points if it's completely off
• 1 point each time Bob Kelly calls windshield wiper fluid "juicy juice"

Viewer Photos Submitted 

• 1 point for a photo showing a dog in the snow
• 1 point for a photo showing baby bundled up in the snow
• 1 point for a photo showing snow accumulation on patio table on back patio
• 1 point for a photos of someone using a snowblower

Video Recordings

• 1 point for each shot of salt truck getting loaded with salt
• 1 point for each shot of a brine truck spreading brine
• 1 point for each shot of a stuck car being pushed by helpers
• 1 point for each shot of the airport
• 1 point for each shot of any Boardwalk at the short
• 1 point for footage of parking spaces being saved by trash cans or patio furniture
• 1 point for footage of kids sledding
• extra point if the sledding is down the Art Museum steps
• 1 point for footage of people skiing at one of the Poconos ski resorts
• 1 point for footage of a ski resort making snow
• 1 point for footage of hardware store with a low supply of salt and/or shovels
• 1 point for footage of grocery store with a low supply of bread and/or milk
